in the bizarre 1996 murder of JonBenet Ramsey, the 6-year-old who was found beaten and strangled in her Boulder, Colorado home. Patsy Ramsey, the recently deceased mother of JonBenet, is suspected of having "strangled her daughter in a panic on Christmas night," Both John and Patsy Ramsey were taking Prozac at the time of the killing.

Kip Kinkel, the 15-year-old Oregon youth who killed his parents before opening fire on his classmates,  also took Prozac.

  Cho Seung-Hui , was a mass murderer who shot and killed 32 people, and wounded 29 others, according to police reports. The shooting rampage, termed the "Virgina Tech Massacre"  took place on April 16,2007
